Uau! Well, for a start, I should stress that I see a movie as I read a book: only for pure entertaining, by the absolute value of its script/story (this is not totally independent from the already mentioned cultural poverty).
When I like the story very much, then I start to pay attention to the details of the movie, like the coherence of its direction, the photography, the chain of planes and events, the interpretation of actors and actresses alike, etc.
My favourite styles are:

My favorite sport is SKI (downhill ski, that is, UFDTM(*)).
For starters, I strongly advice artificial lanes: generally the cost is very low, and for those that want to learn basic techniques, it serves fine. If you have some practice already, I like a lot the Avoriaz ski resort (base altitude of 1800 m), in the French Alps, by the sheer size of its skiable area, and the Val Veni/Courmayeur ski resort, in the Italian Alps, just behind the Mont-Blanc, for its natural beauty (atop the station, you can enjoy a direct view to the Mont-Blanc summit, only a few hundreds of meters away - but Be Careful!: to come back you'll need to ski down a red lane - large but very steep).

You also practice ski in Portugal:
You can also find here a Downhill Dictionary, extracted from a Reader's Digest old magazine, of skiing terms they'll never teach you at the school...

Besides this, I also like to follow the
(I am a fan of Sporting Club de
Portugal, of Lisbon), and the main international Football Championships:
