The Marta DAQ V consists of an ASIC MAROC3 with 64 analog inputs, controlled by a Intel Cyclone IV FPGA that processes the data and transmits it through two quick links to a PC.
An intelligent error control system (watchdog) has also been developed, which allows Marta DAQ V to recover independently from any error situation.
This whole system has been optimized to have a very low consumption and great reliability, as it will be installed in the Auger surface detectors, in remote areas of the Argentine pampa.
