Large part of the Dark Matter, which seems to dominate the Universe, is expected to be in form of relic particles. This allows one to consider the Dark Universe as an unique mean of investigation for Physics beyond the Standard Model. The DAMA experiment at the Gran Sasso National Laboratory of I.N.F.N. is investigating this new frontier. The results achieved in four years of running time with the highly radiopure ~100 kg NaI(Tl) set-up will be presented and the implications discussed.
