Since several years, the kaon community
undertook the precise measurement of a parameter
of the SM, epsilon'/epsilon, which is related to
the Direct Violation of the CP symmetry.
We will try to clarify the importance and the
difficulty of this measurement. As an illustration, we
will extensively discuss in a comparative way the two
most precise current experiments, KTeV at Fermilab and
NA48 at CERN. Both groups have already announced
results on small samples of their data and currently
work on the rest.
