The HERA-B detector is a forward spectrometer with excellent particle identification, covering roughly 90% of the center-of mass solid angle. While mainly designed to study CP violation in the B system, the HERA-B experiment addresses other B-physics topics that can profit from the large boost of the produced B mesons or use the generic High Pt hadron triggers. After finalizing the commissioning phase of the detector, systematic studies of single particle inclusive cross sections are being performed. The J/Psi production cross sections are measured with the HERA-B spectrometer in proton-nucleon collisions at a center-of-mass energy of 42 GeV.
