The registration can be done by e-mail, fax, letter or secure web registration formulary as soon as possible. If your browser doesn’'t support HTTPS URL’'s you can print the PDF formulary on paper and, when filled, send it to the ECRS secretariat by facsimile or standard mail.
The registration form is available online at http://www.lip.pt/ecrsreg. Those wishing to attend the Workshop on Cosmic Rays Schools Projects should also register at http://www.lip.pt/crspreg.
Participants should register until May 15th 2006. The registration fee for the conference participants is 300 Euro. It includes proceedings, welcome cocktail, coffee breaks and lunches (Tuesday-Friday). The registration fee is 150 Euro for pre-laureate students recommended by a member of the teaching staff of their home institution (a simple letter is enough). Companion fee for the social program is fixed to 50 euros, and it includes welcome cocktail and lunches (Tuesday-Friday).
Late registration between the 15th May and the conference opening will have a surcharge of 50 Euro. The Registration desk will be available in the conference location on September 4th 2006.
Due to severe financial constraints, the Organizing Committee will be able to provide limited financial support only to a small number of participants. This support would be limited to (a) waiver of the registration fee (total or partial), and/or (b) free accomodation in a student residence.
Scientists asking for support should contact the Local Organizing Committee (LOC), attaching a brief CV (in case of students also a recommendation letter), specifying the requested kind of support. Requests should be submitted as soon as possible and in any case before 31th March. The LOC will communicate the answer within April 30th.
Financial support is mainly intended for scientists comming from East European countries.
The accepted currency is the EURO, the european common currency.
The fee is to be paid in Euro via credit card, check made out to LIP, bank transfer, or on site with cash. Visa, Eurocard, American Express or Mastercard credit cards will be accepted.
We would like to point out that sending credit card information across
the network is an unsecure procedure.
