All payments must be made in US dollars. Early registration can be paid through bank transfer, check payable to "LIP", or Credit Card. For late registration on site, cash will also be accepted.

An extra charge of 5 US$ will be requested in case of payment with a Credit Card.

To avoid any possible confusion, the Credit Card Companies asked us to inform everyone who is paying the registration fee through credit card that the US dollar value will be charged in Portuguese Escudos (PTE), at the current exchange rate.

Late registration and workshop material

A Registration desk will be open on Sunday 10 September 1995 from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. in the lobby of the Holiday Inn for those of you who have not pre-registered. All attendees, including those who have pre-registered, can pick-up their workshop material at the same desk. This should help alleviate the congestion at the registration desk on the following morning.

If for some reason you were not in a position to complete your registration and/or pick up your workshop material on Sunday evening, please stop at the registration desk in the Hall of the Congress Center, Monday 11 between 8 a.m. and 10 a.m. Remember that the workshop starts at 10 a.m. sharp. Hence, make your best to apply no later than 8:45 a.m. in order to minimize congestion the few minutes before 10 a.m.

Workshop proceedings

A bound copy of the Workshop proceedings will be sent to all registered attendees. We are encouraging oral and poster presenters to contribute with three to five page papers. Photocopies of the transparencies shall not appear in the proceedings. Details on the material to be supplied for publication were given in a letter sent to each contributor.
