ON SITE EDITING AND PRESENTATION REQUIREMENTS

A room will be provided with several text-only terminals, a few B/W X-terminals, one PC, one MacIntosh, one unix workstation and one printer, for Email and general use by registered attendees. Serial RS232 and Ethernet connections will also be made available for laptops.

Any particular needs for last-minute transparencies preparation with editing or presentation software (for MAC, PC or unix) should be communicated to the local organization no later than 15 July in order to try to provide for their availability (E-mail: gomes@lipulsi.lip.pt).

One video projector, one slide projector, one overhead projector and a white board will be available in the Auditorium. Speakers needing the video projector should inform the organizers (E-mail: gomes@lipulsi.lip.pt), no later that 15 July, about the following items:

video cassette type (NTSC, PAL, SECAM, VHS, BETA),
laptop (MAC, PC) video output type (VGA, etc) to connect to the projector.
