In just 90 seconds, Pedro Assis, PI of the LIP group in the Pierre Auger Observatory, explained how we "hunt" for the highest energy particles in the Universe; and how we try to learn more about them by studying in detail the huge shower of particles procuded in their interaction with the atmosphere.
