On June 3, our colleague João Sena Marcos defended his PhD thesis entitled "Self-calibrating compact gamma camera for real-time medical imaging".
The PhD work, developed under the auspices of the doctoral program DAEPHYS, was developed at LIP-Coimbra under the supervision of Vladimir Solovov and Andrei Morozov.
The work was presented at the University of Coimbra, having been unanimously approved with the highest classification. Due to the restrictions imposed by the Covid-19 pandemic, the defense was carried out remotely, with public live streaming available on YouTube.
