BSM workshop in Lisbon

Vector Boson Scattering signatures will be thoroughly and systematically investigated during the following LHC Run. This workshop aimed at reviewing the existing Beyond the Standard Model (BSM) models that could be tested with such studies, at determining operative recipes do be used during the data analysis, to understand the interplay between complete models and effective theories for interpreting the experimental results. The event was organized in the context of the VBScan COST Action.
During the workshop, LIP PhD students Ricardo Barrué and Giles Strong talked about their PhD theses in an PubhD outreach event in bar Má Língua, in Graça, organised in partnership with PubhD Lisboa. The idea of these conversations is that PhD students discuss their research with the public in the relaxed ambiance of a bar.
