Jupiter and its icy moons were at the centre of a session held at Escola Secundária de Odivelas.
Luísa Arruda presented the talk “JUICE Mission: a journey to Jupiter and its icy moons”, delivered to Year 11 students.
The European mission JUICE (JUpiter ICy moons Explorer) aims to study Jupiter’s icy moons in order to better understand their structure and potential habitability.
By bringing this project into schools, LIP helps students understand how large-scale science is built over many years, through international collaboration and with a long-term vision.
