Nobel Algarve British International School students visit LIP
"A session on cosmic rays, featuring a virtual reality experience about the Pierre Auger Observatory (Argentina) and a cloud chamber demonstration to make particle tracks visible."

On 29 January, LIP welcomed 21 students, aged 15 to 17, from Nobel Algarve British International School as part of a curriculum-linked visit.
The session combined scientific discussion with hands-on demonstrations, across three moments:
- Talk: “Cosmic Rays: Messengers from an Extreme Universe”
- A virtual reality experience about the Pierre Auger Observatory in Argentina, dedicated to cosmic-ray research
- A cloud chamber demonstration, where particle tracks become visible
The visit was facilitated by Pedro Abreu, Luís Afonso, Bruna Lima and António Gomes.
