"Pedro Teixeira defended his PhD thesis, ‘Muografia aplicada ao Reconhecimento Geofísico – Caso de Estudo na Mina do Lousal’"
On 23 January 2026, Pedro Teixeira successfully defended his PhD in Earth and Space Sciences at the University of Évora.
His thesis, “Muografia aplicada ao Reconhecimento Geofísico – Caso de Estudo na Mina do Lousal”, was developed jointly between LIP and the University of Évora, within a project that also involved the Lousal Ciência Viva Centre and LNEG.
The defence took place before a jury chaired by Maria João Costa, and including Mário Pimenta and Sofia Andringa (LIP), João Matos (LNEG), Jorge Relvas (FCUL and Lousal Ciência Viva Centre), and José Borges and Bento Caldeira (University of Évora).
