Master’s Thesis Defenses

On May 27th, 2025, Pedro Lagarelhos, a Master's student in Physics at Instituto Superior Técnico and member of the ATLAS team at LIP, successfully defended his thesis titled "Probing EFT Wilson Coefficients in the Wtb vertex at the HL-LHC". The work was supervised by António Onofre, with co-supervision by Patrícia Conde Muíño. The jury included Guilherme Milhano and Michele Gallinaro.
On July 1st, 2025, Carolina Costa, also a Master's student in Physics at Instituto Superior Técnico and member of the ATLAS team at LIP, defended her thesis: "Sensitivity of the ATLAS Experiment to Beyond the Standard Model Higgs Interactions in the H→bbγ Decay". The thesis was supervised by Patrícia Conde Muíño, and the jury was composed of Guilherme Milhano, Nuno Leonardo and Inês Ochoa.
