PhD Thesis Defense

On July 3rd, Luís Coelho, PhD student at the University of Coimbra and member of the ATLAS group at LIP, successfully defended his thesis entitled “Phase-II Tracking in ATLAS and search for ttHH production using Run-2 and Run-3 LHC Data.”
The thesis was supervised by Noemi Calace (CERN) and Ricardo Gonçalo (LIP), and the examination committee included Constança Providência, João Carvalho, and Orlando Oliveira (University of Coimbra), Pedro Teixeira-Dias (Royal Holloway, University of London), António Onofre (University of Minho), and Noemi Calace (CERN).
Luís Coelho received the distinction of Approved with Distinction and Honors, the highest grade awarded by the University of Coimbra.
