Gabriela Oliveira, a master's student in Engineering Physics at the University of Minho and a member of LIP-Minho, successfully defended her thesis, entitled “Quantum computing applications to quantum chromodynamics: jet evolution in a quantum computer”, on the 25th July.

The thesis, supervised by Nuno Castro and Guilherme Milhano and with Liliana Apolinário on the evaluation comittee, was awarded 20 points!
