FCT-UNL students get to know INCD

On May 22, students from the Faculty of Science and Technology of Universidade Nova de Lisboa (FCT-UNL) visited the Congress Center of the National Civil Engineering Laboratory (LNEC) to learn more about the world of technology and its development in Portugal.
During the visit, the students explored the computer museum exhibition in the building and attended various presentations. These presentations covered the history of computing at LNEC, INCD's infrastructure and services, as well as the datacenters, network and services of the Scientific Computing Unit of the Foundation for Science and Technology (FCCN).
The initiative also included a tour of INCD's datacenter and equipment, providing a comprehensive overview of the capabilities and technological innovations available.
The surrounding learning environment provided an afternoon full of clarification and promoted the sharing of experiences between the students and the researchers, teachers and technicians present.
