National S&T week and European Researchers Night at LIP
"In 2020, the European Researchers Night takes place during the National S&T Week. At LIP, we decided to join efforts in an online program held on Friday November 27th from 17:00 to 23:30 that will count on all three LIP nodes"
The NEI, since ever the night of the last Friday in September, takes place this year during the National S&T Week -- the week of November 24th, Rómulo de Carvalho's birthday. These are pandemic effects, and certainly not the worst ones. At LIP, we decided to join efforts in an online program on Friday from 17:00 to 23:30 that will count on all three LIP nodes
Sessions will be online with streaming to YouTube, where everyone can participate and ask questions. All information, trailers, the necessary links, etc. are on the web page of NEI at LIP. The program is as follows:
17:00-19:00 LIP-Minho Virtual Visit to the ATLAS experiment at the LHC (Trailer)
20:00-21:30 LIP-Coimbra Tertúlia "Come and discover the infinitely small" animated by a group of young researchers on their European Night
21:30-23:30 LIP-Lisboa Virtual Visit to the CMS Experiment at the LHC (Trailer)
