On July 29, our colleague Ricardo Luz defended his PhD thesis entitled "Development of the instrumentation and readout schemes of MARTA, an upgrade of the Pierre Auger Observatory".
The work was presented at Instituto Supeior Técnico, having been approved "com distinção". Due to the restrictions imposed by the Covid-19 pandemic, the defense was carried out remotely.
