Our newest PhD graduate
"Maura Teixeira defended her PhD thesis on new strategies for the search for dark matter using the ATLAS detector."
On 19 November 2025, Maura Gabriela Barros Teixeira successfully defended her PhD thesis, “Search for Dark Matter with the ATLAS Detector using Unconventional Signatures”, within the MAP-Fis Doctoral Programme in Physics.
The thesis was supervised by Nuno Castro (LIP/UMinho), Marek Taševský and Miguel Romão.
The defence took place at the Department of Physics, School of Sciences, University of Minho, before a jury composed of:
