Yoenls Prata Alicerces Bahu defended his PhD thesis on November 12th at Universidade da Beira Interior (UBI). The work involved measuring radon in the air in public institutions and private homes in the city of Lubango in Angola, as well as the study of radon exhalation from building materials.
Yoenls is a member of the Radiation, Environment and Health group at LIP, and the supervision of the thesis was carried out by Sandra Soares (LIP/UBI).
