ICRC 2019
"The International Cosmic Ray Conference, or ICRC, is being held in Madison, USA, and LIP is well represented. In particular, our colleague Lorenzo Cazon presented a plenary talk on hadronic physics with atmospheric showers."
The International Cosmic Ray Conference, or ICRC, is happening in Madison, USA, from July 24th to August 1st 2019. It is considered the most important conference in Astroparticle Physics, covering cosmic-ray physics, neutrino physics, gamma-ray astonomy, dark matter physics, particle astrophysics, and detection techniques in all these fields.
The LIP delegation presented one plenary talk, three contributed talks and one poster:
- Lorenzo Cazon, High-Light review talk: “Probing High-Energy Hadronic Interactions with Extensive Air Showers”
- Felix Riehn, “Measurement of the fluctuation of the number of muons in Extensive Air Shower with the Auger Observatory”
- Ruben Conceição, “Probing the high pi0 energy spectrum from muon fluctuations”
- Lorenzo Cazon, "Working Group Report on the combined Analysis of muon density measurements from eight air shower experiments“
- Giovanni La Mura (Ruben Conceição), poster “The sub-TeV gamma-ray sky: challenges and opportunities"
