The main topics on the present and future of calorimetry will be covered, with emphasis in high-energy physics experiments.

The Conference will be organized in plenary sessions and will start with an overview and the role of calorimetry in "hot" physics research (top, higgs, neutrinos, etc, only invited talks). Tentatively we foresee the following regular sessions:

  • Calorimetry with crystals
  • Ionization calorimetry
  • Calorimetry with organic scintillators
  • Cerenkov calorimetry
  • Electronics and DAQ
  • Calibration and monitoring
  • Radiation hardness
  • Simulation of calorimeter performance
  • Low and medium energy calorimetry
  • Neutrinos and calorimetry
  • Calorimeters for astrophysics
  • Medical applications
