The proceedings of CALOR99 will be published by World Scientific. The cost for one copy of the proceedings is included in the registration fee.

The Proceedings will be produced from author-prepared camera-ready copies written in the English language.

All manuscripts must be prepared with LaTeX-2.09 or Latex2e. To ensure that each contribution has a uniform appearance, the standard Latex formats of the World Scientific, for a book size of 8.5 " x 6", are provided:

Latex-2.09: There is a text file splread.1st with a preliminary guide, the style file sprocl.sty and the sprocl.tex with the main text.

Latex2e: There is a text file readme.txt with a preliminary guide, the class/style file ws-p8-50x6-00.cls, the ws-p8-50x6-00.tex with the main text and a pdf-file ws-p8-50x6-00.pdf with the sample typeset pages of the above tex file.

The contributions should contain the Latex-file, the eps- or ps-files of the figures and a bound ps-file of the complete article for the contributions written in latex. All files should be submited via e-mail to Calor99@lip.pt. A paper printed copy should also be sent to:

The page limit is 2 pages for each 5 minutes of presentation. Conveners of the sessions are invited to contribute with a summary of the respective sessions, up to 4 pages.

The deadline for reception of proceedings contributions is September 3, 1999.
