Sesimbra

Sesimbra, is a small fishermen's town at the feet of Arrábida Mountains, where a natural pitoresque bay welcomes the small boats.

Most of the city's activities are related to the port, where early in the morning people come to the fish market to make their provisions from the night's harvest, and to tourism due to its reknowned beach and nice environment, and good fish  restaurants.

Sesimbra is situated about 40 Km from the centre of Lisboa and about 20 Km from Setúbal, a large industrial and harbour town at the end of the Sado river. From both cities Sesimbra can be reached easily by regular public buses:
