COMPASS 2018 data taking completed
"This was the second and final year of the Drell-Yan programme, in which the LIP group is deeply involved"

The 2018 COMPASS data taking campaing ended on November 12 at 8:00. This was the second and final year of data taking in the Drell-Yan programme, in which the LIP group is deeply involved
A transversely polarized ammonia target and 190 GeV high-density pion beam were used. The goal is to study the validity of proton models that use TMD PDFs (tranverse momentum dependent parton distribution functions).
The plots show the amount of collected data as a function of time, per day and cumulative.
