Travel information

From the Lisbon Airport by bus
Ask for a Aero-Bus ticket at the airport reception desk you may need to show your boarding ticket. The Aero-Bus is available everyday from 7:00 am to 9:00 pm. The nearest bus stop for  hotel ALIF and Residêncial Imperador is "Av. da República" from there you can walk (about 5 minutes). For hotel Ibis Saldanha the nearest bus stop is at "Saldanha" square.

By Metropolitan (underground)
There are four Metropolitan (underground) lines in Lisbon, depending from your starting point you may need to change lines. The Metropolitan station nearest hotel ALIF and Residêncial Imperador is "Campo Pequeno" in the intersection between Av de Berna and Av. da República. The nearest station to hotel Ibis Saldanha is the "Saldanha" station. Check the Metropolitano de Lisboa web site for more information. The best way to travel in Lisbon is using the underground system.

By Bus
There are a lot of bus routes stopping near the hotels. Check the Carris de Lisboa web site for schedules.

From the Lisbon airport by taxi
The cost from the airport should be around 6 Euro. Take the taxi at the entrance of the departures terminal (not at the arrivals) in the above floor.

By Train coming from North or Spain
There are two main railway stations in Lisbon for trains coming from the north they are "Sta. Apolónia" the old station and "Gare do Oriente" a new railway station built mostly for the Expo98 International Exhibit. All the trains stop at both stations. For more information about trains check the CP (Portuguese railway company) web site.

From Sta. Apolónia station
If you leave the train at Sta. Apolónia (the last station) you must get a bus. The bus 90 is probably the best choice it leaves from Sta. Apolónia. The buses 9 and 46 stop at Rossio from there you can take the Metropolitan until Rotunda and from there to Campo Pequeno or Saldanha . Buses 59 and 105 stop at Praça da Figueira, from there you can take the Metropolitan at Rossio to Rotunda and from there to Campo Pequeno.

From Gare do Oriente station
If you choose to leave the train at Gare do Oriente you can take the Metropolitan at Gare do Oriente until Alameda from there to Campo Grande and finally from Campo Grande to Campo Pequeno or Saldanha.
