PhD thesis defense

Ana Peixoto developed her research work at LIP and CERN, in the framework of LIP’s participation in the ATLAS experiment at the LHC, under the supervision of Nuno Castro. The subject was the search for new physics in the study of the interaction of the top, the heaviest of all quarks.
The resulting PhD thesis, entitled "Search for new interactions in the top quark sector", was now presented at the University of Minho and approved with the highest classification.
