PhD thesis defense

The PhD thesis of Paulo Braz, titled "Sensitivity to the 0νββ decay of 136Xe and development of Machine Learning tools for pulse classification for the LUX-ZEPLIN experiment”, was presented at the University of Coimbra, and unanimously approved with the highest classification.
The research work was developed at LIP-Coimbra, in the framework of the participation in the LZ dark matter search experiment, under the supervision of Alexandre Lindote, Francisco Neves and José Maneira.
Due to the restrictions imposed by the Covid-19 pandemic, the defense was carried out remotely, with public live streaming available on YouTube.
