LIP in UMinho´s Research and Innovation publication
"The University of Minho launched the book/ebook "Research and Innovation", which presents in detail the research and innovation developed at the institution. Naturally LIP is one of the represented research centers"
The book refers to the year 2018, in which there were 638 R&D projects involving 161 million euros and a record number of 2719 scientific publications. The academy's 32 research centers are described, as well as the six interface units and the three institutional projects - the QuantaLab, the Bosch/UMinho Partnership, and the Minho Advanced Computing Center (MACC). It is worth noting that LIP is connected to the latter two institutional projects mentioned. The publication highlights the role of high quality science produced by UMinho in social and economic development.
